SECRETARIES IN HEAVEN AT HIRSCH’S!

Posted last September 12, 2012, 5:13 pm in Events report article

Secretaries Day was celebrated at Hirsch’s Centurion branch with award winning chef, Stacey Lee Chan from SMEG giving the ladies some great cooking tips and ideas whilst cooking a 3 course Turkish Meal consisting of Lamb Kofta, Aubergine stuffed with beef, Baklava with Date Infused Cream and of course, the not to be missed, original Turkish Delight. Said PRO, Linda Levendag, “The morning's entertainment didn't stop there! Charlotte Blignaut from Jewels of the Nile Belly Dancing Studios joined us all the way from Johannesburg to do belly dancing and not only did she entertain, she got all the ladies off their seats with a crash course in belly dancing! The ladies had a great time and everyone got those hips moving and jiggling as if they were pro's! Charlotte is not only a professional belly dancer, but also a a business and life coach. She inspired the ladies with very inspiring, wisewords. She spoke about how women are becoming stronger and more independent in the 21stcentury.” “We are able to be and do whatever we want.” She said. “ Although many women still have the habit of adhering to what is expected of them as females, what they need to start realising is that their femininity is what gives them strength, it is okay to act like a lady and still dominate a man’s world". Charlotte explained “A woman is most powerful when she is vulnerable”, so ladies need to start stepping out of their comfort zone and try new things. Be who we were meant to be. Be powerful. Be great because “behind every successful man is an even more successful woman” Charlotte said. This was not only a morning of great food and dance but inspiring to all the ladies who attended.
