Networking breakfast!

Posted last December 7, 2012, 5:57 am in Events report article

Today marked my second Networking Breakfast and the last for 2012 J I went from having 6 people at my first event to having a total of 30 people in the Branch today. I have a very passionate group of networkers who are always open to new ideas and the sharing of their knowledge in their respective fields.

My first guest speaker was Coleen Pinto Duarte who spoke about goal setting for the new year, goal structuring and constructive steps to reaching them and my second speaker was Ozzie Dawson from Mind Power who spoke about “taking the IF out of LIFE”. These topics were very fitting for the end of the year as people become tedious and just want the year to end J everyone at the meeting enjoyed the topics, I got feedback from a few attendees that it actually made them want to push harder towards the end of the year.

Minnie (SMEG) made the attendees her deliciously amazing bread with Jam and butter. We have grown an amazing relationship together and we are always willing to help each other out. I introduced her to the group and she proceeded by talking about SMEG products J Lindi (De Longhi) is another person I have grown to work well with, she was of great assistance with the coffee and she is so great with the customers/attendees. She also had the opportunity to talk about our De Longhi products in store J

I spoke about Hirsch’s and told the Hirsch story to the attendees J I gave everyone at the meeting a 60 second pitch session to tell everyone about their company and ended off the function with a fun Balloon game where there was a race to see who could pop their balloon the fastest J Curt From Herbalife won the challenge while everyone else was either out of breath or laughing J

I had the pleasure of introducing 2 sales staff to 2 attendees wanting to buy beds and stoves and I helped another lady who wants to buy items for her daughter for res. Lots of potential sales from the meeting.

I’m happy to say that this function was nothing less than successful
